Gerasimos Kommatas’ practice is focused on commercial and employment law. The employment law side of his practice includes advising clients over a variety of matters, including collective bargaining and the employment aspects of corporate restructurings. He also has significant experience in dealing with commercial law matters with an emphasis on the renewable energy sector, where he has acted in numerous mergers and acquisitions, leading due diligence reviews and negotiating and drafting the relevant transaction documentation.
Since 2008 Gerasimos Kommatas is an external associate at the International and Investment Banking Legal Department of the National Bank of Greece, where he advises on a wide range of transactions and regulatory matters. In addition to his legal practice, he has served as a part-time instructor of law, teaching an English language course of “Business Legal Issues” at the School of Business Administration of Deree College from 2009 to 2011.
